Binibining Pilipinas 2021, 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas, was held tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines where the winners to represent Philippines at the upcoming editions of Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Globe were crowned.
At the end of the event finale, Hannah Arnold of Masbate (Binibini 17) was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 and will represent Philippines at Miss International 2021. The 23-year-old stunning beauty gave a stellar performance at the national competition. Standing 180 cm tall, Hannah hails from Canberra, the capital of Australia and is born to a Filipino mother and an Irish-Australian father and with this, she grew up with the best mix of both cultures. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Applied Science in Forensic Studies at the University of Canberra.
An amalgamation of beauty with brains and a pageant veteran, Hannah joined Miss Philippines Australia and Charity Queen pageant primarily because she knew she would be given the opportunity to raise funds and create awareness for numerous organisations and charities. She won the crown of Charity Queen 2014 when she was only 18 years old. Hannah was a part of Binibining Pilipinas 2019 where she placed in the Top 15 with her incredible performance but failed to win any crown.
Gabrielle Basiano of Borongan and Meiji Cruz of Valenzuela were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively.
Also at the finale, Samantha Panlilio of Cavite was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 while Cinderella Obeñita was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 and Maureen Montagne was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021.
Apart from the winners and their court, the Top 13 included Patrizia Mariah Garcia, Patricia Denise Babista, Karen Laurrie Mendoza, Jashmin Lyn Dimaculangan, Maria Francesca Taruc, Honey Grace Cartasano and Graciella Lehmann.
A number of special awards were also presented at the competition; Best in National Costume went to Maria Ruth Erika Quin, Miss Friendship went to Lesley Anne Ticaro, Miss Talent went to Vianca Louise Marcelo, Face of Binibini (Miss Photogenic) went to Patrizia Mariah Garcia, Miss Alagang Silka went to Maria Francesca Taruc, Jag Denim Queen went to Hannah Arnold, Miss World Balance went to Alexandra Faith Garcia, Miss Ever Bilena went to Maureen Ann Montagne, Miss Pizza Hut went to Karen Laurrie Mendoza, Manila Bulletin Readers' Choice Award went to Micca Rosal, Miss Cream Silk went to Maureen Ann Montagne, Best in Swimsuit went to Meiji Cruz, Best in Long Gown went to Gabrielle Camille Basiano, Bb. Araneta City went to Maria Francesca Taruc.
