Hmwe Thet was adjudged the position of first runner-up at the grand finale of Miss Universe Myanmar 2019 held on 31st May 2019. Just recently, Miss Grand International Organization officially confirmed that the gorgeous beauty will now represent Myanmar in Miss Grand International 2019. She succeeds Miss Grand Myanmar 2018 Su Myat Poo.
From being a strong contestant from the very beginning at Miss Universe Myanmar 2019 to winning the first runner-up position, Hmwe’s journey has been nothing short of spectacular. The 25-year-old beauty will definitely be a strong contender for the crown this year.
Miss Grand International Organization took to their official social media to reveal the news in a post captioned, “Miss Grand Myanmar 2019 is Hmwe Thet. The 25-year-old business woman and travel blogger from Myeik, Tanintharyi Region, Hmwe Thet wrapped up her schooling from Practising High School, Yangon Institute of Education (TTC) after which, she studied Civil Engineering (B.E) at West Yangon Technological University. Hmwe can speak three languages; Myanmar, English and Chinese. Congratulations and officially welcome to our Grand Family!”
