Miss Universe Thailand 2015, Aniporn Chalermburanawong homecoming and interview with the press was held at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport. She was greeted and welcomed by her family, fans and media in the airport to show their love and support to their queen. Aniporn did very well at Miss Universe!
Chalermburanawong represented Thailand at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant on December 20’ 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. As an early favourite, she ended Thailand’s drought of placements and advanced into the Top 10, as well as winning the Best National Costume award for her tuk tuk Thailand inspired costume.

The winning design, Tuk-tuk (or Sam Lor) Thailand, was chosen from 356 entries and was created by Hirankrit Pattaraboriboonkul, 35, an official at the Culture Ministry.
The designer said he expected the new organiser of the Miss Universe pageant would expect new things on the stage, so he decided to utilize 3-D technology in his costume design.
