Miss Nagaland 2013, Imlibenla Wati was crowned Miss World Beauty India 2015. She won the title after defeating 25 other finalists from different regions of India. The glittering evening took place in Lavanya, Delhi. She will now represent India at the Miss World Beauty International to be held in South Korea.

Just before the contest, Imlibenla thought that the competition is going to be very tough for her, but this beauty queen from Mokokchung with her grit and determination, sailed through achieving way beyond - a feat not achieved before.

According to the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN), Imlibenla is one of the first Naga beauty pageant title holder winning a national pageant title and to represent the country at an international pageant. She also won the Miss Congeniality title - a proud moment for the Nagas.

At the same event, Divya Saini from Punjab was crowned Miss Supermodel International 2015, while Sophia Singh from Delhi won the Miss Eco Beauty India 2015 title. They will represent India at the Miss Supermodel International and Miss Eco Beauty International respectively.

The BASN has, meanwhile, congratulated Imlibenla Wati on endearing the title and also appreciated her for breaking the barrier on the concept of beauty pageants, wishing that she will be a source of inspiration for other queens.
