China successfully conducted its splendid finale of Miss Universe China 2015, which was held on August 29’ 2015 at Shanghai Pudong Shangri-La Hotel Ballroom. The finale concluded with the crowning of Jessica Xue as the winner and she will now represent China at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Jessica battled out 14 other striking contenders to clinch the title.
21 years old Jessica, standing tall at a height of 175 cm hails from Shenzhen. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Yanliang Hu. Jessica’s win came across as a surprised to many who were rooting for the running favourites Rebecca and Erica. At the same time, many pageant experts also thought that she is the best Miss Universe China till date, going by her facial features. At the same event, Aurora Wang was adjudged as the first runner-up, Erica Zhao was adjudged as the second runner-up, Rebecca Lang was titled third runner-up and Jingsi Guo ended up as fourth runner-up.
China entered the race of Miss Universe pageant in the year 2002. It was when the very first representative of China Zhuo Ling was titled second runner-up. China’s performance has actually been quite impressive so far. Luo Zilin was titled fourth runner-up in 2011 Miss Universe.
