Karema Batotele has been appointed to represent Canada at the Miss Supranational 2017 beauty pageant. She was placed as the First Runner-up at Miss World Canada 2017.The stunner was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Her experience in a war torn Country allowed her to grow her fears into assets. She has been active in various charitable activities, and is not new to the modelling world. Karema has also been cited by CBC/Radio-Canada as a role model, and continues to inspire the youth by both participating and organizing concrete activities in her community.

She has dedicated her life to voluntarism, raising money and awareness for different causes such as the CHEO’s organization, the Breast Cancer foundation, and many more. For her actions, she was honored by the Governor General of Canada. By her actions, she embodies the essence and profound meaning of beauty with a purpose.

She will now fly to Poland for the Miss Supranational 2017 pageant. Canada is yet to win the crown but in the year 2015, the beautiful Siera Bearchell was titled as the first runner-up.
