On the grand coronation night of Miss World Malta 2015 held on May 2’ 2015 at the Royal Piazza Theater in the capital city of Valletta, Katrina Pavia, from Victoria won the title and was crowned the Miss World Malta 2015. Katrina will now represent Malta at the splendid Miss World 2015 pageant to be held later this year.
Katrina Pavia is 25 years old and is not a newbie at the pageant world. She competed at the Miss World Malta pageant for the year 2007 and 2014, where she ended up a runner-up in both the instances. Pavia competed against 29 other contestants to make it to the coveted crown.
On the same event Manuela Buttigieg was adjudged the title of First runner- up and MarieClaire Portelli was titled the second runner-up. In the history of Miss World, only one Maltese beauty has landed at the semis of Miss World, which was in the year 1969. In 1969, Mary Brincat made her way to the semis at the Miss World pageant held in London. Will Katrina be able to make her cut at the Miss World this year? Only time will tell..!!
