At the end of the scintillating gala of Miss Earth Guyana 2015, Keesha Brotherson was crowned as the winner. She will now represent Guyana at the prestigious Miss Earth 2015 pageant that will be held in Vienna, Austria in December this year.

At the end of the grand finale of Miss Earth 2015, Miss Philippines, Jamie Herrell will crown her successor from the 90 plus beauty queens. Keesha hails from Georgetown, Guyana.

Like other contenders, Keesha too will have to face a tough competition at Miss Earth 2015. As there are so many strong contestants who are eyeing on the Miss Earth crown and have a good shot to bag the title.

With her stunning looks, lean body, and good height, she can definitely be the first Miss Guyanese to place in the Miss Earth pageant. She is the third Guyanese to participate in the Miss Earth contest. The first one was Soyini Asanti Fraser, who participated in 2010 at Miss Earth. And the second was the Stacy Ramcharan who participated in Miss Earth 2014. Stacy was also un-placed at Miss Earth.  Like Miss Earth, Guyana has never placed in Miss Universe or Miss International. 

However, Guyana has achieved a lot of success at the Miss World pageant.  Guyana has managed to get placed six times at Miss World.  Out of these, Guyana made it to the Top 5 for four times.  The highest placement was achieved by Shakira Baksh in 1967.  She was the 2nd runner-up.
