At the conclusion of the finals of Miss Northern Ireland 2015 beauty pageant held on May 11' 2015 at the Europa Hotel, Belfast, Leane McDowell has been crowned the winner. She succeeds Rebekah Shirley, the Miss Northern Ireland 2014, and will represent Northern Ireland at Miss World 2015 pageant.
Leanne hails from Cookstown and is 19 years of age; she was earlier crowned Miss Spice at one of the regional heats. She defeated twenty-seven other finalists competing in the race to the crown.
All the 28 finalists were selected to compete from their heats all over Northern Ireland to compete at the finals of the national pageant.
