Linda Andriksone of Latvia Crowned Miss World Peace 2015

At the conclusion of the coronation, Linda Andriksone of Latvia was crowned Miss World Peace 2015 which took place on 26 September 2015 at the Queen Victoria Auditorium in Hongkong, China. She defeated 37 other contestants from all over the globe to clinch the title of Miss World Peace 2015.

At the same event, Rupa Khurana hailing from India, was adjudged as the first runner-up, and the second-runner up was Roberta Memmi, from Italy. In addition to announcing the winner and the runners-up, two special awards were also awarded - Miss Photogenic, won by Linda Andriksone. Followed by Best National Costume awarded to Jariya Trisantisukkun.

Hailing from Thailand, Jariya looked outstanding in her National costume adorning a Cambodia attire with an eye-catching head-gear and bejewelled ornaments. The attire was traditionally worn by Khmer dancers of the royal family of Thailand.

Miss World Peace is an international pageant. It was first founded in Hong Kong with an aim in mind: to promote, as the title suggests, world peace. The participants sharing these ideals gather from various nations to raise hope for this cause. They are united by their passionate desire for world peace, regardless of race, language and religion.
