At the culmination of the splendid gala night of Miss Latvia 2016 held on 23’ July 2016 at the “Splendid Palace“ in Latvia, Linda Kinca was crowned as the Miss Latvia 2016. Linda succeeds Lasma Zemene Miss Latvia 2015, and will now represent Latvia at the Grand Slam Miss World 2016 pageant.

Linda Kinca Miss Latvia 2016
The 18 years old beauty queen clinched the coveted crown of Miss Latvia 2016 after defeating 15 other finalists. A total number of 16 Latvian beauty participated at the pageant who were judged on national costume, swimsuit parade, as well as the evening dresses and suits.

At the end Linda Kinca (Miss Latvia 2016) emerged as the best among them to win the coveted titles.
At the same pageant, Kintija Krastina was adjudged as the 1st runner Up of Miss Latvia while Anna Britikova was titled as Miss Sympathy.
The preparations of the Miss Latvia 2016 finale were surpassed by a tragic event – as a few days ago the competition's long time organiser, Inta Fogele passed away. The event, Miss Latvia 2016 was organized in her remembrance.
The Miss and Mr. Latvia organization were found by sisters, Julia Djadenko-Mugler (World Miss University 2004) and Kristine Djadenko (Miss Latvia 2005). Later in an agreement with previous organisers of beauty pageant, Inta Fogel acquired the rights for Miss and Mr. Latvia competition.
