At the grand slam finale of Miss Seychelles 2015 held on May 30’ 2015, 21 years old Linne Freminot, an assistant meteorological technician was crowned Miss Seychelles 2015. Linne will represent Seychelles at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in Sanya, China. The finale was held at the Boat House Creole Restaurant at Beau Vallon, a northern district of the main Seychelles island of Mahe.
The Miss Seychelles pageant was relaunched in 2012 after four years absence. Miss Seychelled 2015 was the 4th edition of the pageant. Miss Seychelles’ aim is to highlight the high standards of feminine beauty and elegance among the islands.
According to the 21 years old queen, her biggest achievement was when she graduated at the Institute for Meteorological Training and Research in Nairobi, Kenya. Her crowning moment from last night might just be another add on to her achievements. Linne hailing from Anse Louis in the south-eastern coast of Mahe Island, participating at the pageant has always been a dream, but somehow she could never assemble the courage to do so until this year.
