At the splendid finale of Miss Guyana World 2015, Lisa Punch from Georgetown was crowned as the winner by the outgoing queen Rafieya Husain at the event held at the Marriott's Guyana hotel. Lisa will now represent Guyana at the Miss World 2015 pageant. 23 years old Lisa is a Guyanese singer and was one of the finalists in ABC’s Rising Star show. She would be a great show at the Talent Fast-track event in the Miss World 2015 pageant.
Punch recorded several songs back in Guyana before she finally left for USA to establish a career. Guyana sits on the northern coast of South America, and is home to a beautiful landscape, including tropical rainforests and spectacular waterfalls. The melodious beauty queen will now be competing for the coveted crown of Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China. Going by the statistics of contestants pouring in for the Miss World title this year, the competition surely is going to get tough.
It is to be noted that Rafieya won “Beauty with a purpose” award in Miss World 2014 and was also awarded “Queen of Carribean” title. Will Punch be able to make it big this year surpassing her predecessor?? What is your take on this?
