At the conclusion of the finals of Miss Israel 2015 (Malkat HaYofi Israel 2015), Maayan Keren has been adjudged the winner and crowned Miss World Israel 2015. She is 17 years of age and stands tall at 175 cm. Maayan succeeds Mor Maman, the Miss World Israel 2014. At the same event, Avigail Alfatov was crowned Miss Universe Israel 2015. She is 18 years of age and stands tall at 173 cm. Avigail succeeds Doron Matalon, the Miss Universe Israel 2014.
The beautiful duo of Maayan and Avigail will now represent Israel at Miss World 2015 and Miss Universe 2015 international pageants respectively.
This year Miss Israel 2015 adopted a new format, and out of a total of 16 contestants competing for the crown at the beginning, the Top 4 finalists were determined basis audience votes and professional judges opinion. The four finalists so selected were - Avigail Alfatov, Maayan Keren, Victoria Khersonsky, and Itay Barash. After the Top 4 were announced the voting process continued till the commencement of the final event, and the winners were decided basis the votes of the audience and the jury.
The sixteen candidates who competed for the title of Miss Israel 2015, and a host of other exciting prizes were Kim Sondin, Avigail Alfatov, Ortal Manchovzky, Ilana Amchislavski, Eden Fines, Bar Berlovich, Adina Taganye, Bat-Elle Kadosh, Sigal Doogmosh, Hila Zaramati, Maayan Keren, Victoria Khersonsky, Yuval-Bar Ben Lulu, Valeria Dan, Yarden Dadon, and Itay Barash.
