20 years old Maolin Yalung is the replacement for Kimberle Mae Penchon, Binibini 9, who withdrew from the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 to chase a career that might not get around in her favour again and required her giving up the involvement in Bb.Pilipinas. Maolin is a graduate in BS Speech Pathology from the University of The Philippines, Manila. She loves working with children who inspire her to enjoy every single day. Yalung, was the 3rd runner-up in Mutya ning Kapampangan 2014 and also competed in Miss Casino Filipino 2014.

Maolin is excited and at the same time nervous about filling in the shoes of Binibini 9. She considers her entry into the pageant, a blessing in disguise. Maolin has been the crowds’ favourite from the beginning of the pageant, and many also vouched on her wining this year. She desires to win the crown, and is working hard towards it. This 20 year-old 5’9″ native of Mabalacat is an advocate of education and wants to take part in projects that create more awareness of its importance.
