The Miss Supranational Guatemala organization has appointed María Fernanda Milián as Miss Supranational Guatemala 2022. She succeeds Miss Supranational Guatemala 2019 Andrea Radford for the title. Radford represented Guatemala at Miss Supranational 2019 and made it to the Top 25 finalists of the event.

As reported earlier, formerly appointed Guatemalan candidate for Miss Supranational 2022, Mayra Jansodin Zuñiga Álvarez has been declared unfit to give forth a delegation at the upcoming Miss Supranational competition due to medical conditions. So now, María will be representing Guatemala at the coveted pageant.

The official statement read,” The organization of Miss Supranational Guatemala announces that due to medical conditions presented by Ms. Jansodin Zúñiga, current Miss Supranational Guatemala 2020. Unfortunately, she could not attend the 13th edition of Miss Supranational 2022 to be held in July of this year in the country of Poland.”

After receiving the good news, the diva took to her social media handle to express her gratitude and shared,” My feeling for honoring the name of my country will be one of joy, love, sacrifice, responsibility and identity, personally, I want to thank God, my family, the organization of Miss Supranational Guatemala, friends, sponsors and the different social media pages that promote the beauty of Guatemalan women, for your support and for the vote of confidence to represent them.”

Miss Supranational 2022 will be the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant and will be held in Poland. Chanique Rabe of Namibia will crown her successor at the end of the event.
