The Top Model of the World organization has recently introduced the official delegate of Philippines for the upcoming edition of the international pageant. The country will be represented by Maria Imari Rodriguez.

Maria Imari Rodriguez is a professional model who loves working out. She has walked the runway for various international brands and has a prominent career in Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines. The diva posted a picture of herself holding a dumb-bell at the gym and captioned it,” My happy place.” If that says anything for her love of exercising.

The 25-year-old is so often caught up in modelling assignments that she rarely gets any time to rest. Maria does not shy away from showing her vulnerable side on the internet. “Random story: When i was on my way home after this shoot I started crying while riding an "angkas" lol. Not because i'm sad, but because finally i can rest,” shared Rodriguez in an emotional post over her Instagram.

The competition, which debuted in 1993 in Miami, is a dream opportunity for models all around the world. Maria also wants to utilize this opportunity to grow as a model by representing Philippines at the 28th edition of Top Model of the World.

The participants will be seen in swimsuits and evening dresses for different segments of the competition this year. The grand finale of Top Model of the World 2021 is scheduled to take place on 11th March 2022 at Tanoak Resort in Ain Sukhna, an hour away from Cairo where the winner will succeed Top Model of the World 2020 Pierinna Patiño of Peru for the title.
