Mariella Castillo is the finalist number 35 for Binibining Pilipinas 2016. She hails from Batangas, Philippines.  She is currently taking up Fashion Design and Merchandising at the De La Salle College of St. Benilde.

The 24 years old Pinay beauty plans to put up her own clothing line someday and would love to design wedding gowns.

Mariella Castillo is not new to the world of pageantry as she has already participated at Bb. Plipinas 2010 competition as Binibini number 1. The beauty queen learned a lot from her past pageantry experience, and she has groomed herself in a way that no one could easily identify her if they see the older version of her. We would say Mariella has transformed herself from sober to stylish damsel.

Standing at an astounding height of 5’5 ¾” the Pinay beauty is more fierce and polished now, as she simply added that needed character to her overall aura. She has enhanced her features which makes her look no less than a gorgeous diva, moreover her beautiful smile and compelling set of eyes are sufficient to make anyone fall for her.

Mariella Castillo is the girl who made the Top 10 cut during the Bb. Plipinas 2010 which was won by Maria Venus Raj, while Czarina Catherine Gatbonton was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas-World at the same pageant.

The finale of Bb. Pilipinas 2016 is scheduled to be held on April 17’ 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines, wherein the reigning Bb. Pilipinas Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach will crown her successor as Bb. Pilipinas 2016 at the end of the event.
