Marijana Markovic was crowned as Miss Bosne i Herzegovine 2015 also known as Miss Bosnia and Hercegovine 2015 at the end of the national gala held on September 27. This 20 years old beauty queen hails from Prnjavor. Marijana will now represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Miss World 2015 pageant in Sanya, China this December. She had to compete with 11 other contestants to clinch the title of Miss Bosne i Herzegovine 2015.
Bosnia and Herzegovina first competed at Miss World in the year 1996. Since then, only Danijela Vins in 2002 has managed to make it to the semis of the pageant. This was the twentieth edition of the beauty pageant that was won by Marijana Markovic. Leija Hadozic was titled as the first-runner up and Nermana Malkic was declared as second-runner up. Ana Marija Tomic was awarded Miss Televoting and Marijana Markovic was awarded Miss Internet.
