Daniela Armijos Cordero, Miss Ecuador 2015 finalist hailing from Cuenca is a professional model in New York. For more than a year, she worked on a contract with modeling agencies for major brands like "Coco-Mat", and "Make up forever". She loves spending time admiring the beauty of Mother Nature, loves animals and is a huge sports fan. "Let us love and respect our country, because our country is a paradise full of things to discover and develop tourism”, says Daniela.

The stunning beauty is not a first time pageant entrant, in fact she participated at Model of the Year 2012 held in Cuenca and Miss Mesoamerica International 2013 held in El Salvador. Daniela claims to be an active and energetic person, who spends time working on aid projects and indulge in some social work for aged group. Recently, she has started working with a foundation named “Emmaus” in Cuenca. The foundation works for the cancer patient.

Daniela shares her love towards the landscape and the natural beauty of her country Ecuador. "Ecuador was an inspiration for me to study my degree in Environmental Engineering, for all the flora and fauna it has. This is why I like to help conserve and develop tourism and all the beauty that our country has." Talking about her natural heritage, Daniela says that in the year 1999, her city, Cuenca was declared a World Heritage Site.

When asked about her desire to win the Miss Ecuador 2015 pageant, Daniela says that her winning the pageant would help her promote tourism in her country and spread the natural beauty of Ecuador, to the entire world. She states that even If she wins the title of Miss Ecuador 2015, she would continue with her social works. "I would love to do a project for medical help in places that have no care, operating room with a cart, also work with children suffering from cancer and the elderly", says Daniela.

Miss Ecuador 2015 is scheduled to be held on March 14’ 2015 and the contestants are all set to nick their presence at the finals. Who is your bet for the crown this year?
