Met Gala, fashion world’s biggest night in Hollywood, was held on time this year on 1st May 2022 for the first time since 2019 as covid-19 postponed all events around the world. Various A-list celebrities walked the steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on the traditional date.
Met Gala’s true purpose is to raise funds for the museum’s Costume Institute, including more than $16.4 million in 2021 through its $30,000 tickets and $200,000-plus tables, which are often paid for by the companies and brands hosting celebrity guests. The theme for this year’s edition in first part was called “Gilded Glamour and part two was themed In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
