The 24 years old Binibini, Mia Allyson Hernandez Howell, hailing from Quezon City is a graduate from NCAA Division I school University of Pennsylvania. Back in 2007, Mia was a member of the women’s fencing team and represented Philippines during the Southeast Asian Games held in Thailand. Mia was an intern under Arnold Schwarzenegger, when she was fourteen.

Given her athletic background, Mia won gold and bronze medal in the year 2007 and 2011, playing for Philippine National Fencing Team. But her sports background is now part of her past and the beauty now represents Quezon City at the national pageant of Binibining Pilipinas 2015. The Fil-American fencer, Mia Allyson Hernandez Howell is now one of the 34 candidates who made her access to thepageant which will hold its coronation night on March 15 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. After completing her graduation, Mia Allyson wanted to pursue her further studies in Law, when she got a call for the screening and training for Bb. Pilipinas 2015. Mia decided to go for the pageant, as this break might just be her last gamble to chase the fantasy of pageantry. She decided to give the pageant her final shot and complete dedication before she resumes her life outside the competition. 

Mia has been an amazing performer at the Preliminary Competitions of Binibining Pilipinas 2015. Her sharp mind and exceptionally amazing communication skills are her strength that might take her long way at the pageant. Going by her performances so far and given that she withstands brilliant speaking skills, she could be one of the best speakers among the candidates.
