Miqueal-Symone Williams: A woman on a mission at Miss Universe Jamaica 2020

Miqueal-Symone Williams made it to the Top 10 at the second elimination of Miss Universe Jamaica 2020 held at the beginning of last month. Since her participation, she has proven to be a strong contender at the national competition.

Miqueal is a Pulse International model which has also produced beauty queens such as Sandra Foster and Christine Straw, who won both the Miss Jamaica World and Miss Universe Jamaica titles. The stunning beauty will complete her degree in marketing and psychology at The University of the West Indies, Mona campus in December.

On her dream to represent Jamaica at Miss Universe, she said, “I’ve always wanted to represent my country in the pageant area. I am confident that I can do well, and if I get the chance to be Miss Jamaica, it will be a great honour for me.” Miqueal is keen to perform at her best and is prepared to put in the focused work required for this kind of competition.

 

 

Miqueal is focused on her career goals and also wishes to make an impact on young people’s lives. She said, “I want to get a platform to explore some of my social-change interests, and being a Miss Jamaica allows one a megaphone to be heard on a different scale.”

Williams is one of ten finalists who will compete in the competition. The contestants are Kimberly Dawkins, Monique Thomas, Ashanti Findley, Abigail Pinnock, Briana Russell, Liniesha Davis, Alexia Royal Eatmon, Shanique Thompson, and Samantha Williams.

The finale will take place on Saturday, 12th December 2020. The pageant will be broadcast exclusively on FLOW 1 TV.
