Kimberly Keen was elected as Miss Alaska Earth USA 2022 in September this year as she became the official representative of Alaska at Miss Earth USA 2022. Kimberly Keen is 27 years of age who is a family law lawyer, freelance journalist, model, humanitarian, and environmental activist. The stunning beauty graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and the University of San Diego School of Law with a juris doctorate degree.
Kimberly is actively involved with Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights, where she helps the legal team introduce draft legislation to the Iraqi Parliament to help victims of ISIS. She wrote an article about the human rights crisis which was also internationally published.
The stunning beauty is also the founder of Oceana Project, where she raises relief funds for wildlife restoration efforts for the disastrous Huntington Beach oil spill. She partnered with One Digital World in November and co-hosted the ‘Walk for Wildlife Run for Refugees 5K’.
Through her efforts, she was able to raise funds for the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, an organization which works for oil spill restoration, and for One Digital World, to help with refugee education. This year, adding another feather to her cap, she was appointed a Global Ambassador for the organization Clean Trails for her extensive efforts with beach and trail cleanups.
Keen passed the California bar exam on her first try. While at UCLA, she also won second place in the GenUN Case Competition for her initiative to deliver aid to internally displaced persons in Syria. During law school, Kimberly also served on the executive board of the Journal of Climate and Energy Law as a comment editor, highlighting the changing laws and policy around climate change and energy conservation. Upon graduation, she won the Pro Bono Service Recognition award for contributing over 100 hours in free legal work.
Keen will surely be a strong competition for the other delegates at Miss Earth USA 2022. With her experience in holding titles Miss Encinitas USA 2021, Miss California USA and her stunning beauty, Keen will be a front-runner the national crown.
