The 96th edition of Miss America was held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida on 14th January 2024 where Madison Marsh of Colorado was crowned Miss America 2024. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss America 2023 Grace Stanke of Wisconsin.
Madison Marsh has made history as she has become the first serving US soldier to be crowned Miss America. Madison is 22 years of age and a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot in Top Gun training. Marsh is the first active-duty officer from any branch of the military at Miss America national organization.
Madison is an incoming Harvard graduate student and also the founder of Whitney Marsh Foundation. The organization is responsible for raising money for pancreatic cancer research, awareness, early detection, and patient care.
The newly crowned Miss America 2024 Madison Marsh’s court included –
1st Runner-Up – Ellie Breaux of Texas
2nd Runner-Up – Cydney Bridges of Indiana
3rd Runner-Up – Mallory Hudson of Kentucky
4th Runner-Up – Caroline Parente of Rhode Island
Top 11 also included Cori Keller of Arkansas, Juliette Valle of Florida, Courtney Wages of Kansas, Kennedy Taylor of Maryland, Amelia Collins of New York and Taylor Loyd of North Carolina.

Miss America organization also congratulated the outgoing Miss America Grace Stanke on a successful reign. “Thank you for an incredible year of inspiration and empowerment.
