Miss Asia Awards 2019 held its coronation night at Holiday Inn and Suites Saigon Airport, Vietnam where Kayesha Chua won the crown for the first time for her country, Philippines. From Albay, Kayesha is a pageant veteran who has won several crowns. She was appointed as the Philippines’ representative to Miss Asia Awards 2019 shortly after her stint in Miss World Philippines 2019.

Kayesha gave a stunning performance at the international stage and stunned everyone with her beauty and grace. She was also awarded Best in National Costume in a creation made by Patrick Isorena. This was the fifth edition of the Miss Asia Awards.

Not new to the pageantry, Kayesha has had a long journey in the pageant world. She participated in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and made it all the way to Top 25. Unfortunately, she did not win any placement at the contest but did not waver from her path. Kayesha again participated in Binibining Pilipinas 2019 but she did not get into the list of official candidates. In a last-minute surprise entry, Kayesha joined Miss World Philippines 2019 but only made it the first cut. However, her luck changed completely as she won this crown.

Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
