Of course it’s beauty queens are the foremost reasons why the country is one of the much talked about nations in the world of pageantry. But, also because Philippines is holding two international pageants – Miss Universe 2016 in January 2017, and Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 now!

Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 pageant which is just a week away from the finale is in full swing. Forty extremely talented girls are competing for the title and are all set to dazzle the stage on the finals. After the arrival of the delegates, it was time for them to dazzle in front of the media and press. The Press Presentation held at the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino in Manila saw the divas flaunt their gorgeous physiques in similar swimsuits. At the conclusion of the event, Darling of the Press Award winners were announced by the panel of esteem judges present. The winners were –

Winner – Nay Chi Lin Miss Yangon

1st runner-up – Natalie Carriere Miss Canada

2nd runner-up – Achol Arow Miss South Sudan

The Press Presentation also marked as the sashing ceremony of the delegates. The coronation night is slated to be held on November 23rd 2016 at Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan Province, Philippines, and will be televised internationally via Star World.
