Its official! Miss Asia Pacific International Organization took to their official social media recently to announce the host country for this year’s edition of the international pageant and it is none other than the pageant hub – Philippines! Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 will be held on 9th October 2019 in Manila, Philippines where Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel will crown her successor at the finale.

The countries have begun to crown/appoint its representatives to participate in Miss Asia Pacific International 2019. This year’s edition will for sure be a good one with Philippines’ fan base in the pageantry. Sharika Akeel, the reigning Miss Asia Pacific International also hails from Philippines making this year’s edition all the more special.

Philippines holds dominance in the pageant with 5 crowns under its belt. The country pioneered its win in 1982 when Maria del Carmen Ines Zaragoza was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 1982. After that Philippines won the title in 1983, 1989, 1993 and 2018. This will be the fourth consecutive year that the pageant will be held in Philippines and second time in Manila in the last four years.
