The winner of Miss World Bahamas 2018 will represent the Bahamas at Miss World 2018 where Manushi Chhillar will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

But before that, let's know more about these 10 finalists in a series of features.

Miss Bahamas 2018 Finalist Desire Edwards

The 20-year-old Desire Edwards is the official representative of Ragged Island at Miss Bahamas 2018. As her advocacy, Desire wishes to develop opportunities in culture and arts for Bahamian youth. Her desire stems from an unquenchable passion for music and the arts, with the help of her grandmother the late Kayla Lockhart Edwards.

Desire comes from a family of Bahamian icons – Kayla Lockhart Edwards, musician and political activist Edmund Moxey, and Harlem Globetrotter Osbourne Lockhart are all her relatives.

With her brilliant performance at the national costume competition, being placed in Top 3, Desire is definitely one of the front-runners at the competition. As a great moment, she produced and starred in the first play she’d ever written entitled “The Great Bahamia”.
