Miss Bahamas 2018 Swimsuit and Top Model competition

Miss Bahamas 2018 has been busy holding its preliminary competitions as the finale is not far ahead. The grand finale is slated to happen on 27th May 2018 where the 10 Bahamian divas will participate to compete for the national title.

The reigning Miss Bahamas is Geena Thompson and she will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner of Miss Bahamas 2018 will represent Bahamas at the upcoming Miss World 2018.

On 21st May 2018, as the part of the preliminary competitions, Miss Bahamas 2018 organized its swimsuit and top model competition at 6 PM on Compass Point. The competition was sponsored by Sands, truly Bahamian Beer.

With the stage set and audience seated, the competition began with Miss World Abaco 2018 walking on the stage in a black swimsuit and looking ever so gorgeous. This competition was the perfect opportunity for these Bahamian divas to show their extreme hardwork that goes on to be this fit and healthy.

Miss World Andros 2018 was not far behind as she walked the stage in a white swimsuit which complimented her body so well. With smile on their faces and suave in their walk, the contestants one by one walked the stage, enthralling the audience with their beauty and charm.

Also at the competition, Ms Erica Laing of the Island Game Foundation was presented with the ‘Invisible Crown’ for her contribution to pageantry and Miss Bahamas Organization. The social media handle of Miss Bahamas posted – “In this industry we tend to only see the finished product and overlook the hard work and effort that goes in, behind the scenes. But, this year we decided to shed some light on a person who’s more than deserving of the spotlight. So, for the first time ever, We present to Ms. Erica Laing of The Island Game Foundation, “The invisible crown” - Thank you for your contribution to pageantry and to the Miss Bahamas Organization.”
