Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 will be held soon virtually as twenty-two candidates will compete for the national crown in three rounds. The reigning queen Louise Theunis Miss Bikini Philippines 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
The organization recently released two episodes of Miss Bikini Philippines Pageant 2020 where in the first episode the 22 fit and beautiful candidates introduced themselves along with Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Gabrena Ong who is going to host the virtual pageant. The episode includes Angelia’s interview with the National Director Lahaina Mae Mondonedo and concluded with the first of three competition rounds, “The Brains Competition”.
Angelia asked Lahania about what made the ProMedia push through with Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 pageant despite the challenges of the global pandemic to which the National Director stated, “It was so important to me and the entire ProMedia to push through Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 because of two significant reasons, first is to continue the legacy as the winner goes onto become an ambassador for health and beauty. Secondly, it’s more important now than ever to promote health. As a beauty pageant that has an immense focus on physical and mental health, we felt it our responsibility to showcase our mission and inspire.”
Former Miss Earth further asked about the main objective of the pageant and Lahaina mentioned that it is to showcase the modern Filipina; who has a strong, healthy, and active body along with an angelic face, brilliant mind, and kind heart. This is what sets Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 apart from other pageants as it aspires to spread awareness that beauty, brains, and fitness goes together. Lahaina mentioned that Miss Bikini Philippines is an inspiration who is a beautiful, healthy, kind-hearted, beautiful mind who feels deeply for the community and wants to work for making it better.
Further in the episode, the divas were given a topic and were asked to speak on the same in order to showcase their intelligent minds and impress the audience. Every diva sounded confident and clear about their given topic. You can watch the first episode here:
The second episode of Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 focused on the beauty and bikini of the divas as they showcased their beauty in stunning evening gowns and later in bikinis. Every one of them looks confident, strong, and beautiful in the evening gowns and bikinis too. There is one more preliminary round left which can help the divas to impress the judges along with the audience.
