Paula Schneider is Miss Bolivia Universo 2015

The grand slam finale of Miss Bolivia 2015 concluded with the crowning of Miss Santa Cruz Paula Schneider as the winner of Miss Bolivia Universe 2015. Paula will now represent Bolivia at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Bolivia is yet to achieve success at the Miss Universe pageant. The country has placed twice till now.  First placement of the country was in 1991 when Rosario Rico Toro placed in Top 6.  Second placement of the country was in 2006 when Amelia Vega’s dopple-ganger Desiree Durán placed in the Top 10.

At the same event, Cochabamba Alejandra Panozo won the title of Miss Bolivia International 2015.  Miss Residents Bolivia Jasmine Duran won the title of Miss Bolivia Earth 2015 and  Miss Coastline Joyce Prado won the title of Miss Bolivia Tourism 2015.  Miss Benin Andrea Velazco was titled Miss Bolivia United Continents 2015.

Bolivia has placed in the Miss International pageant, number of times.  The first placement was by Giselle Greminger who made it to the Top 15 in 1990.  The next placement was by Liliana Arce Angulo who made it to the Top 15 in 1995.  Third was by Elke Groterhost Pacheco who made it to the Top 15 in 1995.  Fourth placement was by Liliana Pena who made it to the Top 15 in 1998. The last placement was in 2003 when Muriel Cruz made it to the Top 12. Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez was one of the judges in Miss Bolivia 2015 finals.

Catherine Villarroel Márquez gave Bolivia it’s only placement in Miss Earth in the very first year of the pageant 2001.

The other winners at the finals of Miss Bolivia 2015 are –

1st Runner-up: Claudia Camacho

2nd Runner-up: Giovana

3rd Runner-up: Sharon Valderde

4th Runner-up: Bernarda Costa

The finals was graced by 23 contestants vying for the crown from all over Bolivia. The finalists adorned the evening gowns and costumes designed by renonwned designers. The concept and scenery was designed by Luis Alberto Velasco.  Rolando Wellington organised the choreography of the show.
