Bonaire is all set to return to Miss Universe from the next year’s edition, if reports are to be believed. Miss Bonaire 2022 competition is being held currently as the contestants are gearing up for the finale.

Bonaire last competed at Miss Universe from 1967 to 1999. Since 2010, the Netherlands proclaimed that Bonaire is a municipality of the Netherlands. If Miss Bonaire wins the Miss Nederland, she may compete at Miss Universe as Miss Universe Netherlands. Miss Universe Organization also confirmed that Bonaire will only be allowed to compete at Miss Nederland and will not go to Miss Universe anymore.

However, just recently, according to the reports, one of the contestants said that the national competition will be held on 3rd December 2022 and so the winner might get the opportunity to represent Bonaire at the next edition of Miss Universe.

The contestants competing for Miss Bonaire 2022 are Ruby Pouchet, Michell Andrea Emerenciana, Maria De Los Angeles, Kimberley Nicoletta and Caroline Porras.
