Miss Charm Venezuela 2019 Claudymar Oropeza has officially refused to participate in Miss Charm 2021 after several postponements announced by the organization. The diva took to her social media to release a statement as she steps down as the country’s representative for the international competition.

“As you all know, I have been designated as Miss Charm Venezuela, a title that will give me the right to represent my country in the first edition of the Miss Charm International beauty pageant, previously scheduled to be held in April. After the official announcement on March 15, 2022 they announced again about the suspension of the contest and after a long thought, today I have decided to terminate my right to participate as the role as the representative of Venezuela in that international competition,” she wrote.

She further added, “I feel happy and grateful for this decision, which further motivates me to keep working on my dreams and goals, as I am a person who faithfully believes that "If the plan doesn't work out, it won't work. can be changed, but the goal doesn't have to be the same" and one of my goals is to represent Venezuela on the international beauty scene.”

The diva also extended her gratitude and acknowledged her national organization as well as Mr. Osmel Sousa and Esteban Velasquez for supporting her with this decision. “I thank God, my family, my friends, and all of my followers who have been there all these years and been supportive. I hope you will continue to trust in my next projects. I will continue to prepare myself with the determination and responsibility necessary to take our country's name forward,” she shared signing off as the winner of the first edition of El Concurso.

The Miss Charm organization had recently released an official announcement that this year’s edition has been postponed yet again, which was earlier scheduled to be held in April. The reason for the decision involves the both the current rising cases of Covid as well as the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
