Anabella Castro Sierra was announced Miss International Colombia 2018 by the Señorita Colombia Organization on 29th June 2018. She will now represent Colombia at Miss International 2018. Anabella succeeds Miss International Colombia 2017 Vanessa Pulgarin.
Anabella is not new to the pageant world; she represented Cesar at Señorita Colombia 2017 and also placed in the Top 10 at the finale of the competition. She also won the titles of 'Elegancia Prímatela' and 'Reina de la Policía at the competition. Standing tall at 178 cm, this Colombian beauty has always stood out with her height, beautiful hair and black eyes.
Anabella was one of the favourite contestants to win the national title last year as she was admired and loved by her fans. Her slender frame, beauty, elegance and attitude also helped her in reaching far in the competition.
Miss International 2018 will take place in Tokyo, Japan where the winner must serve as 'Ambassador of peace and beauty'. Colombia was the first country to win this title in the first edition of the international pageant in 1960 with Stella Márquez. In 1999, Paulina Margarita Gálvez Pineda won the second International title for her country and in 2004 Yeimy Paola Vargas obtained the third one.
