Olga Litvinenko won the title of Miss Connecticut 2017 during the state finale held on November 13th, 2016 and will go on to represent Connecticut in the next round of competition for the coveted Miss USA 2017 crown. The pageant was held at The Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa, Connecticut and had three rounds of judgement viz. Personal Interview; Swimsuit and Evening Gown.

Sharing her happiness Olga says, “As a resident of Connecticut, I am incredibly honored to represent the pride and glory of our beautiful state as MISS CONNECTICUT USA, 2017.” Olga, 26, belongs to Greenwich and has graduated from Syracuse University and works on her own event management business. She shifted to the modeling career post a sports injury when during a basketball match, she tore her ligament. Before winning the Miss Connecticus title, she also earned the Miss Connecticus Teen USA title in the year 2007.

Apart from her love for the pageant, Olga Litvinenko is an active marathon runner and has participated in the New York City Marathon in November, 2016 and finished 26.2 miles in the run. She describes herself as a hard worker and says that she believes in the key elements, “Mental preparation, focusing on my work, reading, surrounding myself with family and friends.”

Connecticut is one of the least known states in the USA for winning the Miss USA title, and Olga wants to win this title for her own state. Excited about the pageant Olga says, “Through my participation in the pageants, I am overjoyed at the chance to showcase everything that being from our great state means to me, and I pledge to continue to make Connecticut proud.” The national pageant of Miss USA 2017 is going to be held in the month of June, 2017 and she is all prepped-up for her performance in the competition. Olga will the first girl from Greenwich to win the coveted Miss USA 2017 crown.
