Miss Cook Islands 2018 will host its grand finale on 15th September 2018 at Avarua National Auditorium. The winner of Miss Cook Islands 2018 will represent her country at Miss World 2018 whereas the first runner-up and second runner-up will represent at Miss Earth 2018 and Miss International 2018 respectively.

Miss Cook Islands 2017 Alanna Smith represented her country at Miss World 2017. Even though she failed to place in the semifinals, Alanna was the 1st runner-up at Miss World Sport and placed in Top 20 at Beauty with a Purpose. Alanna will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Miss Earth Cook Islands 2017 Mona Taio, the first runner-up last year stayed unplaced along with Miss International Cook Islands 2017 Silas Tuaputa.

Miss Cook Islands 2018 will reveal its contestants on 28th July 2018 at the event which will be held at Avarua Auditorium. Through the months thereafter, the organization will hold different acitvities and competition for the delegates to prepare them for the finale. The panel of jury will also hold its interviews with the contestants on 9th September 2018.
