The finale of Miss Cosmopolitan World 2017 is scheduled to take place on 16th September 2017 at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in Malaysia. The finalists of the contest have started preparing for the night by indulging in various events, activities and charity work. They want to present themselves at their best during the finals to clinch the coveted title.

This year, things are different and the girls are getting their hands dirty, experiencing what it's like to be a farmer. All the delegates were tested on basic skills required for post-harvesting handling activity.  The crops that they have produced will be sold in the market and the income will then be donated to the pageant's supported charities. Earlier, the girls went to Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor to see monkeys up-close.

Contestants also took a 40-minute boat-ride to reach Sky Mirror - Malaysia’s very own version of Salar de Uyuni - Bolivia's salt flat, the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 sq km. Their day was filled with joy in this mysterious island located in the middle of the Straits of Malacca Sea. After reaching the sand bar, the girls instantly left their inhibitions behind and thoroughly enjoyed a sense of freedom. Local photographers followed them everywhere to capture the beauties.  

The contestants also paid a visit to Furry Friends Farm as part of their activities. Furry Friend Farm focuses on educating the people regarding animal welfare issues and promote volunteering in rescue centres and encourages them to interact with animals so as to make them understand the needs of animals.

With this, the beauties have also been given training for the catwalk, stage presence and public speeches to get all decked up for the finale night. Miss Cosmopolitan World 2016 Veronika Markova will officially crown her successor at the conclusion of the event on 16th September.
