The 61st edition of Miss Costa Rica pageant is all positioned to select the most beautiful woman of the country who will eventually represent Costa Rica at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. The grand finale is slated to be held on August 7’ 2015 at Marco Picado Study. The pageant has already kick started with announcing the ten finalists who will be competing for the coveted crown of Miss Costa Rica 2015. As the contest is moving slowly and steadily with its preliminary competitions and activities, on July 2’ 2015 the contestants will be participating in the Press Presentation to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn -located in La Sabana at 7 pm (Costa Rica time).

The Press presentation is going to be a private event, only with the presence of pageant organizers and team and media personalities. According to sources, the event beholds few surprises too, which are not yet revealed. The event will witness the ten finalists walking the ramp in full zeal, and also attending interviews and other rounds as part of their preliminary competition.

Ever since the initiation of the contest, the delegates have been busy and occupied with various activities in the pageant. In one such event, the contestants exhibited their talent through a succession of costumes made from recycled products. The creative ideas for costumes were implemented by the contestants and were also designed by them.

The pageant this year is based on the theme “Experience the Beauty” and aims at the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The reigning Miss Costa Rica is Karina Ramos, who represented Costa Rica at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. At the coronation night of Miss Costa Rica 2015, Karina will crown one of the finalists as her successor.
