At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Costa Rica 2019 held on 19th July 2019 in La Sabrina, Costa Rica, Paola Chacón was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of her country in Miss Universe 2019.Miss Costa Rica 2018 Natalia Carvajal crowned her successor at the end of the event finale. Paola bested eight other contestants to win the national crown.
The gorgeous Costa Rican beauty performed with absolute grace and elegance at the national crown. Not new to the pageantry, Paola holds various titles under her belt; she was Miss Costa Rica Intercontinental 2014, Miss Tourismo Intercontinental 2015, Miss Hispanomerica 2016, Miss Costa Rica 2016 and Miss International Costa Rica 2017. With all this experience in pageantry, she will sure be a force to be reckoned with at the competition.

Second Runner-Up – Monia Zamora
Brenda was a crowd’s favourite from the beginning of the competition and had a great presence in the contest. She was a part of our favourites as well but unfortunately lost the crown to Paola who bested her and every other delegate at the finale.
