Mandjalia Gbane crowned as Miss Cote d’Ivoire 2017

A second-year commercial management student, Mandjalia Gbane won the title of Miss Cote d’Ivoire 2017 on Saturday i.e. 3rd June 2017 in Abidjan, the economic capital of the country. The 21-year-old from Zanzan District will now represent her country in Miss World 2017. She was elected with 14.50% of the votes and replaced Esther Mémel.

Gbane previously competed in Miss Model of the World 2016 in China where she won Miss Model of Africa and was considered the best in Swimsuit awards.
 
A total of 26 beautiful candidates competed for the coveted crown previously held by Esther Memel. The runners-up were DarlèneKassem (1st runner-up), Ericka Konaté (2nd runner-up), Elena Sanogo (3rd runner-up), and Carole Koffi (4th runner-up). The 25 other participants in the competition were also rewarded with several in-kind prizes from the official sponsors.
 
Miss Cote d'Ivoire is a national beauty pageant in Cote d'Ivoire and it came into existence in 1956.The committee Miss Cote d'Ivoire is an association chaired by Victor Yapobi (Comici).
