Faith Porter was crowned Miss District of Columbia 2022 at the finale night held on 4th June 2022 at Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel in Northwest, Washington. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss District of Columbia 2021 Sasha Perea and will represent her state at Miss USA 2022.

Faith Porter originally hails from Bowie, Maryland and later moved to New York, USA. After attending Annapolis Area Christian School in Severn, Maryland, Porter went to Pace University in New York City where she earned her bachelor’s degree in arts, entertainment and media management in 2020.

Not new to the pageantry, Faith represented the District of Columbia at Miss Earth USA 2022. She was runner-up to Natalia Simon and was crowned Miss Earth USA Air 2022. Faith has the experience and the beauty to be a strong representative at the national contest.

Miss District of Columbia 2022 Faith Porter’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Shawna Melvin

2nd Runner-up – Cassie Baloue

3rd Runner-up – Chelsie Stevens

4th Runner-up – Kleo Toress

Top 12 also included Ambreia Williams, Adrianna Moore, Tina Kanonuhwa, Deshawna Grimsley, Lily Goff, Madison Chambers and Ebony Acton.

Also at the finale, Asia Hickman was crowned Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2022 as she became the official representative of District of Columbia at Miss USA 2022. Jade Ridout, Anya Beltran and Nia Lacy were adjudged first, second and third runners-up respectively.
