At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Diva 2017 held on 11th October 2017 at Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai, Shraddha Shashidhar was crowned Miss India Universe 2017 and will now represent India in Miss Universe 2017 pageant to be held in Las Vegas, USA on 26th November 2017. She was crowned by the Miss India Universe 2016 Roshmitha Harimurthy and the reigning queen of the universe herself - Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere.
At the same event, Peden Ongmu Namgyal was declared the first runner-up and was crowned Miss India Supranational 2016 by the gorgeous Miss India Supranational and Miss Supranational 2016 Srinidhi Shetty. She will now represent India in Miss Supranational 2017 to be held in Poland and Slovakia.
Apeksha Porwal was declared the second runner-up and is likely to represent India in Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant to be held in Sri Lanka. Top 6 finalists also included Shannon Gonsalves, Tejaswini Manogna and Vijaya Sharma.
Special awards winners for Miss Diva 2017 included Tejaswini Manogna (Miss Talented), Vijaya Sharma (Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Beautiful Skin), Apeksha Porwal (Miss Fascinating), Peden Ongmu Namgyal (Miss Photogenic), Shannon Gonsalves (Miss Beach Beauty), Spatika Surapaneni (Miss Rampwalk and Miss Active) and Trisha Sood (Miss Spectacular Eyes).
The jury for the finale comprised of Lara Dutta (Miss Universe 2000), Iris Mittenaere (Miss Universe 2016), Kabir Khan (Indian movie director), Rajkummar Rao (Indian movie actor), Vijender Singh (Indian boxer), and Chuck Russell (Hollywood Director).
