The beautiful Miss Earth 2016 titleholder, Ecuador’s Katherine Espin, is currently in the Philippines, the same country where she was honoured with the crown. Espin came back this time to fulfil her promise of working hard towards her environmental advocacy, and the Filipinos are giving her back with love and warmth.

The beauty who was recently honoured with the Lifetime Goodwill Ambassador award by the Ilocos Sur province, went there on a medical mission. She also went around the place and enjoyed the natural beauty which Ilocos is known for.

The crown adorner also went to the Vigan City, situated on the west coast of Luzon Island in Philippines, and explored the emblematic and historic streets of one of the seven wonder cities of the world. The beauty queen especially enjoyed the visit to Our Lady of Charity Parish in the Vegan City, where she felt peaceful and happy. She also enjoyed the Kalesa ride at Vigan's historic village, Calle Crisologo.

Besides these, the beauty also went to many other places where she seemed to enjoy a great day and was showered by immense love. One of the most memorable parts of the trip were when she went to the Baluarte Zoo with her pageant sisters, the Miss Philippines Earth stunners and had a great time bonding and exploring the fauna.

Katherine was crowned on the 29th in October in 2016 as the Miss Earth 2016 and since then has been working efficiently to fulfil her duties. Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous?
