Miss Earth 2017 has started with a bang where beautiful contestants received a grand arrival in the Philippines. The grand coronation night of the coveted pageant is set to take place on 4th November 2017 at Manila, Philippines. The gorgeous delegates landed from 6th to 8th October on an energetic note to kick-start this beautiful experience. They all looked fresh and ready.

While there’s time for the main night, the contestants are having a gala time in various events like Environmental Seminar and Welcome Dinner Party.

Contestants started their journey with cleaning the Manila Bay, and later attending a press conference. Next day the beauties attended an Environmental Seminar which was held at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources with Raf Dionisio (The Plastic Solution), Matthias Gelber and Gregg Yan (Oceana Philippines) as speakers. The girls were divided into groups to make a presentation on the topic “How to tackle our main ecological problem”. They learned the importance of education in the fight against climate change during the seminar.

Later, the beauties were given a warm welcome through a dinner party where they looked exquisite. Veteran Hollywood actor Steven Seagal graced the venue with his presence to support young delegates where they got a chance to interact with each other and get to know each other.

This year's edition is tagged as "Heroines Fighting Climate Change".

What sets Miss Earth apart from other pageants is that the delegates (both national and international) learn something about the environment after the pageant.
