Meghna Alam was crowned as the new Miss Earth Bangladesh 2020 at the private coronation ceremony held on 5th October 2020 and will represent the country at the Miss Earth 2020 coronation ceremony which is to be held on 29th November 2020 virtually. Meghna is studying bachelor’s in business administration with scholarship at North South University of Bangladesh. She is very excited to be a part of Miss Earth 2020 stage especially when her home country is going to make a debut at the competition. She is very confident, strong, and focused woman who has started various activities to make herself self-dependent.

The diva believes that Miss Earth is a powerful platform that will strengthen her voice as women, reach out to people's hearts for radical change in society and focus on environmental change. She shared on her social media “My dream is to have women and men equally recognized in every profession, including agriculture, in my lifetime. Women play a huge role in the global food production process; however, their contribution remains unrefined and unpublished.”

Meghna is new to pageantry but has shown immense dedication towards the competition and feels that she will be able to use her skills and abilities to perform her best. She has worked with some brands and designers in Bangladesh which has helped her to understand modeling which will be useful to her. She is also excited to meet the delegates of other countries even if it is through a screen as she feels that she can learn a lot from every one of them. She is positive, hopeful, and humble towards everyone. She believes in working hard at every step of the life and has already started to prepare herself for the pageant. She would use the platform to carry her environmental advocacy forward.
