Ilssen Olmos Ferrufino is the newly crowned Miss Earth Bolivia 2018 and is now Bolivia’s official representative to the 2018 Miss Earth pageant. The Miss Bolivia 2018 finale was on June 23 held at the Salón Sirionó dela FexPo in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The night witnessed the beautiful contestants exploring new boundaries. Promocciones Gloria designated the model as Miss Bolivia Tierra 2018.

The 27-year-old model and actress is a telecommunication engineer from the Technical University in Chile, who also happens to be a MBA from the University of Chile. She stands 175 cm tall and is affluent in five languages namely Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese.

The multilingual beauty also owns two Siamese cats, Luna and Peke who in her own words are a part of her spirit. She loves being around animals, especially cats for they calm her and give her something to look forward to. This Bolivian beauty not only boasts of having a way with the animals but also with the world. She is a wanderer at heart and has flown to many different countries. From India to Mexico, France to Thailand and many more, this beauty queen has seen it all.

This gem of La Paz origin is Bolivia’s best bet to win the international crown since Bolivia has only been placed once in the Miss Earth pageant in 2001, and is yet to win the international crown. Catherine Villarroel Marquez is the only Bolivian to be placed in the top 10 of the Miss Earth Pageant.

The media and the project on the protection of nature is what took Ilssen by interest to prepare and compete for Miss Earth. She believes that one must take care of their environment and the habitat that they live in order to create a safe and sound space for everyone that coexists. 

Ilssen is sure to give many surprises at the international event to be held at Manila in Philippines, this October.
