The national pageant of Botswana i.e. Miss Earth Botswana 2019 this year makes a grand comeback in pageantry once again. The beauty pageant is back after a four-year hiatus. The last event was held in the country back in 2014. This year’s edition will host its finale soon.

This year’s edition of this pageant will be a colossal celebration as it has come back with Top 30 finalist who will be competing in the pageant. The organization first conducted auditions in Maun, Francistown, Palapye and Gaborone and they managed to shortlist Top 30 beauties who are capable enough of competing in the pageant.

Miss Earth Botswana is the national pageant of Botswana that selects the country’s representative for Miss Earth beauty pageant. Botswana made its debut at Miss Earth in the year 2006. The winner of the pageant is involved in numerous environmental education initiatives, with more emphasis on educating the general public about the importance of a cleaner and safer environment and involved in tree planting, road safety campaigns, and taking part in the commemoration of environmentally related days such as World Environment Day.
