Miss Earth Botswana organization appointed Seneo Perry as Miss Earth Botswana on 7th September 2020 after a lot of deliberation and now Perry will represent Botswana in Miss Earth 2020. Seneo Perry succeeds Miss Earth Botswana 2019 Katlego Kasie Seitshiro.

Seneo Perry is not new to the pageant world as she won Best Project in last year's Miss Earth Botswana competition. The 24-year-old environmentalist from Gaborone holds a degree in entrepreneurial business leadership.

Seneo also took to her Facebook to thank everyone who showed faith in her as she wrote, “Thank you to the Miss Earth Botswana Team for believing I can represent our beautiful blue nation on the World Stage. To my family, my sponsors, my children at SOS Childrens Village and the management, Friends and everyone who has been rooting for me since day 1. I am here because of you. Let us work together as I still need your support and bring the crown home together.”

The organization took to their official social media to announce the winner in a post captioned, “Looking at the current pandemic we are facing, Miss Earth Team has joined other Eco Angels to help fight this problem and preserve our mother nature. After extensive engagements and consultations, Miss Earth Botswana Team decided to choose Seneo Perry who won Best Project in 2019 to represent Botswana in the 2020 Miss Earth Virtual competition. We have every confidence Seneo Perry will fully represent and wish her the very best. Thank you for your continued support.”

Last year, Miss Earth Botswana 2019 Katlego Kasie Seitshiro represented Botswana at Miss Earth 2019 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 20. Botswana has yet to win the Miss Earth crown. Congratulations to the newly appointed queen.
