Aleena Singh was crowned Miss Earth Canda 2024 at the finale of PGC national pageant 2023 on Saturday, 19th August 2023 in Richmond Hill, Canada as she became the official representative of Canada at Miss Earth 2024.

Aleena is of Indian descent, who was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in Ontario. Aleena Singh’s win was also historic as she became the first ever Indian-Canadian woman to win Miss Earth Canada 2024. With her win, she took to her official social media to express her feelings in a post captioned, “When I was younger the idea of Miss Canada resembling someone like me seemed like just a dream. Yet, after years of nurturing dreams and my mom encouraging me, I decided to take a chance.”

“Today, I am so excited to share that I am your Miss Earth Canada 2024—marking a historic moment as the first Indian-Canadian woman to hold this title. Next year I will be representing Canada on the Miss Earth international stage. I can’t wait to see what this year holds for me”, she added.

Aleena has big footsteps to fill of her predecessor Miss Earth Canada 2023 Layanna Robinson who represented her country at Miss Earth 2023 and placed in the Top 20, breaking 16 years of placement drought for her country at Miss Earth.

Miss Earth 2024, the 24th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, is set to be held in Vietnam next year where Miss Earth 2023 Drita Ziri of Albania will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
